Liverpool Cancer Support Centre

Founded in the summer of 1983, by Marie Ferguson, as the Liverpool Cancer Care Self Help Group to share experiences with those affected by cancer, their families and friends. The Group held their first meetings in the bungalow at the rear of Sunnybank, the Marie Curie Home, Speke Road, Woolton. The Group became a registered charity in 1985.

In 1991, the Group moved to St. Mary’s Hall, Quarry Street, Woolton, where they remained until May 1993, when they moved to their present location at 21 Aigburth Road, Aigburth. St. Mary’s Hall then became a private residence...
